Hi Everyone
I am after a little bit of information about the single "Wings of Victory" which I believe JDS recorded in the UK, I remember having the single back in the 60,s but It got lost along the way, recently though I came across a copy of it at a fair, so I purchased it only to discover that the disk was not a normal 45 but it is what I think is an Acetate, as it is on a 10 inch disk and only recorded on one side, it has a Goldstar Label on it and I would love to know the History of this recording and any other information you could give me.
Kind Regards

| According to Billboard Magazine it was recorded in 1981 and produced in Los Angeles by Stan Ross at GoldStar Studios. Randy Edelman produced the b-side called possible dream. It was released by the UK label Audiotrax with a 1972 picture sleeve photo of Jackie when she was on Atlantic Records. The song also appeared in the Movie and Soundtrack of the 1984 film called Sky High. Jackie am I getting the facts correct? |

| Sorry just reading the information about "Wings of Victory" I realised that I had made a mistake on typing the year.I think you are probably correct in stating the year as 1981, and also about the title of the "B" side which rang a bell as soon as I read it off the page, but cant cofirm it, as the acetate I have got is recorded on 1 side only. But thanks for the info as I have been waiting ages for someone to try and answer my post.So thanks for that and Kind regards. |
